Open to contractual candidates: Yes, as an exception to civil servant applications. A contract can be recruited for service needs or due to the nature of functions when no civil servant application has succeeded. The proposed contract cannot exceed three years, renewable up to a maximum of six years.

Job description:

Under the hierarchical authority of the Coordinator of the Local Security and Crime Prevention Contract (CLSPD) and functionally of the Coordinator of the social mediation team, the candidate will:

  • Conduct preventive mediation through monitoring in public spaces.
  • Intervene in situations of dysfunction related to public assets and equipment.
  • Manage conflicts through dialogue and act as an interface between the public and institutions.

Main activities:

  • Access control and monitoring of buildings and premises.
  • Preventive presence and vigilance in sensitive public spaces.
  • Resolve conflicts between individuals.
  • Facilitate communication between the population and institutions.
  • Strengthen social bonds.
  • Participate in developing partnerships and promoting mediation activities.

Working conditions and challenges:

  • Standing continuously.
  • Night and weekend on-call duties.

Functional relationships:

  • Regular contact with surveillance and security agents.
  • Coordination with services like security, municipal police, technical, and maintenance teams.

External partners:

  • Police, fire, and rescue services, EDF, depending on surveillance procedures.
