Our first Four Seasons mountain destination in Europe with 55 accommodations including 14 suites, is due to re-open in December 2019 following renovation. Our seasonal operations are from December 15 to April 15 and June 14 to September 30.

About the role

The Security Officer is responsible for the overall security of the facility, reporting to the Assistant Security Manager and Security Director. The role requires multitasking in a fast-paced environment, being proactive, creative, and a team player. The Security Officer should be proficient in IT, remote surveillance, and physical security systems to protect people and property.

What you will do

• Discipline, availability, sense of service and discretion
• Maintain a permanent presence at the security station (day and night if necessary).
• Follow and enforce safety rules concerning people and property on the premises. Ensure proper operation of fire protection equipment through inspection rounds.
• Organize rounds to prevent and detect fire hazards, including in unoccupied premises (at night). Ensure hotel exits and entrances are kept clear day and night.
• Enforce fire regulations and direct rescue efforts until fire department arrives. Intervene according to instructions received.
• Prevent entry of undesirable elements likely to disrupt hotel activities and limit theft or damage through attentive presence. Keep hotel exits and entrances clear at all times.
• The above tasks are not exhaustive; the role requires adaptation to high activity situations and customer relationship management.

What we are looking for

You must have the legal right to work in France, fluency in French and English, and hold the French “Carte Professionnelle” and SSIAP 1 certifications.
