Job Description

Grades sought: Adjoint technique, Adjoint technique principal de 2ème classe, Adjoint technique principal de 1ère classe

Open to contractual candidates: Yes, as a derogation from civil servant applications. Contracts may be up to three years, renewable up to six years. Non-civil servants may be recruited directly into entry-grade positions without a competitive exam.

Full-time position

Job Description: Perform routine maintenance and operational tasks to preserve the quality of public roads, ensuring safety and comfort for users. Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance of buildings, planning needs for tools, materials, applying safety and maintenance instructions, and demonstrating initiative in coordination with supervisors.

Main Activities:

1. Road maintenance and operation (80%)
2. Monitoring the network, diagnosing major deterioration, installing and removing temporary signage, maintaining roads and roadside dependencies, monitoring and maintaining structures, equipment, participating in emergency and winter services, and assisting project supervision.
3. School facilities (20%)
4. Inspect building conditions, perform minor repairs, assist external companies, procure materials, and maintain outdoor green spaces.

Desired Skills and Profile:

• Driving license B, BE, C, CE
• Knowledge of VRD techniques, masonry, road maintenance, signaling, and safety procedures
• Understanding of winter road management plans and emergency protocols
• Ability to operate and understand machinery and safety rules
• Good communication skills, teamwork, and positive relations with colleagues, students, and road users
