Description du poste

Annemasse Agglomération, with nearly 95,000 inhabitants, is the second-largest urban area in Haute-Savoie. Comprising 12 municipalities, it is fully integrated into the transborder Greater Geneva area, a dynamic region of nearly one million residents.

As a key player in public service, Annemasse Agglo operates in various sectors including environmental protection, water and sanitation, community roads, housing, mobility, social cohesion, cultural and sports activities, economic development, and tourism. Over 600 employees serve daily to implement the strategic policies of the community.

Position Overview

The Water and Sanitation Department ensures access to quality drinking water and manages wastewater treatment through its treatment plant, which employs biological and physico-chemical processes to protect natural environments.

The maintenance team is responsible for general upkeep of the site facilities, including cleanliness, lighting, electrical outlets, doors, ventilation systems, and safety barriers. The role involves acting as the UDEP interface for green space maintenance and external interventions related to building security and upkeep, aligned with Annemasse Agglo's strategic directives.

Responsibilities
  • Perform general maintenance of technical buildings, including daily inspections, detecting and reporting damages or anomalies, and executing routine, preventive, or corrective maintenance in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and locksmithing areas.
  • Implement and regularly update compliance plans to meet regulatory standards, organizing work according to the schedule and building occupancy.
  • Manage green spaces by coordinating with service providers, developing and updating maintenance plans, and reporting to technical or service managers for optimal management.
Candidate Profile

We seek an observant, responsive, autonomous individual with a constructive mindset, capable of integrating into a welcoming team. The candidate should be versatile in minor repairs and building maintenance, including mounting fixtures, maintaining cleanliness, and identifying faults in lighting and locks.

Offer and Benefits

This full-time position (39 hours/week) is open to both permanent and fixed-term contract candidates (up to 3 years). Benefits include 25 days of annual leave, 22 RTT days, financial incentives such as end-of-year and performance bonuses, meal vouchers, and partial reimbursement of public transport costs.
