Aftermarket Braking Product Marketing Business Developer (m/f/d)

This position involves leading the product strategy for one or several product lines, based on a strong understanding of the market, including trends, competition, and regional potential analysis. The role supports product development by identifying needs, building business cases for new products, and coordinating their launch. As a key partner to regional sales teams, the person in this role contributes to revenue growth and monitors product performance. They are also involved in promotional activities, product data management, and continuous improvement of the offering.

Your core responsibilities include :

  • Responsible for market intelligence for your product(s) line(s) (market trends, competitor analysis, etc.).
  • Identify and quantify market potential per product line and region.
  • Conduct competition analysis (range, service, pricing, USP).
  • Prepare distribution analysis in collaboration with the regional sales team.
  • Identify range gaps and define the product offer.
  • Prepare business cases for new references (costing, profit, supply chain).
  • Develop launch packages for new references (cross-references, technical data, USP).
  • Update and communicate parts list to all regions.
  • Manage product lifecycle including End-Of-Life (EOL) with sales teams and divisions.
  • Support pricing quotations for new items.

Business Development

  • Support all regions with product inquiries, cross-referencing, tenders, etc.
  • Coordinate business conquest processes between regions and divisions.
  • Propose and coordinate product benchmarking; translate technical results into sales pitches.
  • Prepare analysis for business reviews with divisions and BUs.
  • Analyze monthly sales performance and propose corrective actions.

Promotion & Branding

  • Support regional sales promotion activities and trade shows.

Data

  • Support cross-referencing for OEM/OES/IAM.
  • Coordinate catalog proofreading and publication.

Profile and Qualifications :

  • Bachelor/Master in Business, Marketing, Finance, or similar.
  • At least 5 years of experience in aftermarket sales or automotive marketing.
  • Autonomous, curious, and proactive.
  • Fluent in English; French and Japanese are assets.
  • Excellent Excel skills are mandatory.
  • Experience with Tableau or similar BI tools is an asset.
