Job summary

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant field required; Bachelor’s with additional experience acceptable.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in GHG inventories and AFOLU.
• Experience with IPCC 2006 guidelines and inventory software.
• Experience with international climate reporting standards and ETF.
• Proven capacity-building and training delivery skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop tailored training courses and materials for compiling GHG inventories.
• Conduct hands-on training sessions on the IPCC Inventory Software.
• Organise workshops on Common Reporting Tables and software.
• Collaborate with national experts to guide AFOLU inventories and other sectors.
• Facilitate workshops on ETF, MPGs, data reporting timelines and review processes.
• Provide support for institutional arrangements and transparency systems.
• Deliver five country-specific training concept notes, materials and final reports.
