Harmattan AI is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure supplier quality through audits and development. You will work with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Engineering, and Supply Chain, using Jira or Confluence to document quality topics related to design projects.

Requirements include an engineering degree in quality/industrial/aeronautical/mechanical fields and 3–5 years in supplier quality. Travel for suppliers is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in quality, industrial, aeronautical, or mechanical engineering.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant supplier/procurement quality experience in aerospace/defense/automotive sectors.
• Strong experience in supplier audit & qualification, PPAP/FAI run, and 8D corrective actions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work across teams in an international environment.
• Open for supplier travel.
• Excellent written and verbal English; align with Harmattan AI’s mission.

Responsabilités

• Conduct supplier qualification and approval (new sources, special processes).
• Conduct supplier/process audits (AS9100, special-process, APQP).
• Ensure FAI (AS9102) and PPAP review; receiving-inspection strategy and defect containment.
• Implement supplier 8D / corrective actions; owner of supplier development; NDAA / AQAP flow-down.
• Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, and Supply Chain; document quality topics using Jira/Confluence.
• Participate in initiatives to improve design and development processes; reduce design risks.
