Alta Ares in Toulouse is seeking a Pyrotechnics Engineer to own the integration, testing, qualification, and regulatory compliance of pyrotechnic payloads across Alta Ares' airborne systems.

You will collaborate with Mechanical, Avionics, Systems, and Test teams to ensure payloads are safely integrated onto drones and interceptor platforms, from design through flight testing and operational deployment, in a fast-moving, hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in pyrotechnics, aerospace, or defense environments.
• Ability to lead integration, testing, and qualification campaigns.
• Familiarity with regulatory approvals for pyrotechnic or military systems.

Responsabilités

• Lead the integration of pyrotechnic and military payloads onto airborne platforms.
• Define mechanical, electrical, and functional interfaces between payloads and vehicles.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration.
• Plan and execute ground and flight tests; define acceptance criteria and qualification requirements.
• Prepare and maintain technical, safety, and qualification documentation.
