Advisors Creative Desk - Project Manager Job Description

Overview

The Data & Services team is a key differentiator for Mastercard, providing cutting-edge services that help our customers grow. Centered on data-driven technologies and innovation, this team offers consulting, marketing, loyalty, and analytics to financial institutions and merchants globally. Marketing Services is a division within D&S that develops and executes marketing programs to help clients achieve their marketing goals. The Advisors Creative Desk is part of D&S and is responsible for ideating and creating engaging, on-brand content solutions that connect our advertising partners, platforms, and brands.

As a Creative Desk Project Manager, you should have a passion for managing production resource planning for marketing communications and ensuring efficient management of the Creative Desk capabilities. You will need a creative flair, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and be capable of managing multiple project deliverables. Strong people management, communication skills, and resource management abilities are essential. Additionally, you should have an interest in identifying and implementing business improvements and ensuring smooth onboarding of new team members.

Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate closely with the Creative Desk Project Manager and production leads to ensure the end-to-end development and delivery of campaigns for assigned clients.
  2. Maintain strict adherence to resource and project management platforms such as Salesforce and Aprimo.
  3. Ensure timely and budget-compliant production of communication materials through sound resource planning and management.
  4. Coordinate project resourcing from initiation to delivery.
  5. Ensure project stages meet client and creative briefs, budgets, resources, and deadlines.
  6. Monitor current traffic processes and suggest improvements where necessary.
  7. Manage campaign resources and keep stakeholders updated on requirements and supply status.
  8. Oversee vendor relationships, SOWs, and PO processes.
  9. Support regional Creative Desk leadership with business reporting.
  10. Build effective relationships across departments such as Sourcing, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Client Services.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in project and account management.
  • Experience managing high-volume traffic projects from start to finish.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Skilled in briefing creative teams and reporting to clients.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Bachelor's degree, with postgraduate qualifications in creative or digital marketing preferred.
  • Fluency in English and French required.
