Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent experience is required plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Experience in a government contracting environment is strongly preferred. Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation is preferred.

Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

The work we do is often classified and involves advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, AR/VR, Cloud Native, and Quantum Physics.

As an Advanced Program Finance Specialist, you will prepare ad-hoc analyses to support contract and program analysis and special projects. You will review and approve purchase requisitions for budgeted expenses, ensuring expenses are correctly applied. Additionally, you will monitor and ensure compliance with ASC 606 Revenue Recognition and Earnings Rate Reviews in accordance with GAAP and GDMS policies. You will analyze financial performance for assigned programs to identify risks and funding issues, engaging with senior program management to mitigate risks.

What you bring to the table:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business with at least 5 years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience. Experience in government contracting is preferred. CPA or CMA designation is preferred.
• Deep knowledge of General Ledger Accounting, Rates and Compliance, and Cost Proposal functions
• Familiarity with TINA, CAS, FAR, GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley, and ASC 606 Revenue Recognition
• Excellent time-management skills to meet multiple deadlines

Note: This position is on-site in Chantilly, VA or Scottsdale, AZ. Some flexibility may be available.

Target salary range: USD $93,771 - $101,464 annually. Actual pay may vary based on experience and location. This posting remains open until the position is filled.
