A leading international research organization is seeking an Administrator to the Deputy Director General - Research. The successful candidate will provide high-level secretarial and administrative support, facilitating efficient management of complex research agendas and ensuring effective collaboration across teams. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage confidential matters, and fluency in English and Arabic.

Main purpose of the position
The Administrator to the Deputy Director General – Research (DDGR) co-ordinates and provides executive-level secretarial and administrative support directly to the DDGR, facilitating effective management of a complex, dynamic research agenda including Research Platforms. The role involves close collaboration with the Director General’s Office, as well as providing basic on projects and initiatives led or supervised by the DDGR, ensuring smooth coordination with ICARDA/OneCGIAR Science Team Liaison Officers.

Requirements
This is a nationally recruited staff position open for Moroccan nationals for which ICARDA offers an attractive compensation package including a competitive salary, medical insurance, 30 days of annual leave, five months’ maternity leave, 15 days’ paternity leave. The successful candidate will be offered an initial contract of 3 years, renewable subject to continued need for the position and satisfactory performance. The first year will be a probationary period.
