Summary: The U.S. Mission in Paris, France is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the Administrative Assistant in the Air Traffic Control (ATC) Liaison Office.

Occasional TDY (Temporary Duty Assignment)
Serve as a vital link in aviation operations by coordinating daily administrative functions that keep air traffic control liaison operations running smoothly and efficiently.
Provide translation and interpretation support, accurately translating operational documents, correspondence, and communications between English and [target language] to ensure clarity and compliance across multilingual teams and stakeholders.
Manage and maintain critical documentation, including operational logs, personnel records, and regulatory compliance files, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for mission-critical decision-making.
Coordinate scheduling and logistics for personnel, visits, and office operations, directly supporting US air traffic control liaison activities in France.
Facilitate seamless communication between air traffic controllers, supervisors, technical staff, and external stakeholders—including non-English-speaking personnel or visitors—acting as a key point of contact in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
Prepare and process correspondence, reports, and briefing materials, translating as needed, to support leadership in maintaining the highest standards of aviation safety and operational readiness.
Manage procurement and inventory of office and operational supplies, ensuring the office is always equipped to support air traffic liaison operations.
Support budget tracking and administrative reporting, contributing to the fiscal responsibility and operational transparency of the liaison office.
Assist with onboarding and training coordination for new personnel, including translating training materials when necessary to support a diverse, mission-ready workforce.
Uphold confidentiality and professionalism while handling operational, personnel, and translated information critical to ATC liaison office responsibilities.
All selected candidates must be able to obtain and hold a: Public Trust/Non-Sensitive-Low Risk security clearance.
All selected candidates will be subject to a background investigation and may be subject to a pre-employment medical exam. Selected candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time (12 weeks) upon receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.

Experience:
