Description du poste

In our Operation & Maintenance department, and the technical support team, you will primarily focus on acoustics and biodiversity expertise. You will collaborate closely with teams involved in all projects across Europe.

The position is based in Paris La Défense (France).

Type of contract : Apprenticeship / Apprentissage

Main Responsibilities
  1. Support acoustics and biodiversity engineering activities by assisting department leaders, power stations, and the business development team in managing these expertise areas within the Technical Support team.
  2. Support compliance with environmental protection policies in acoustics and biodiversity across all CGNEE portfolios covering six European countries, with a focus on challenges in France, Ireland, Belgium, and others.
  3. Provide technical support to asset managers for handling noise complaints, non-conformities, scheduling noise studies, and analyzing results to balance compliance with production needs.
  4. Participate in implementing environmental measures and defining mitigation strategies in coordination with operation managers and referents, including follow-up during operations.
  5. Coordinate with suppliers: manage tenders, proposals, evaluate offers, and oversee procurement and payments.
  6. Maintain and optimize environmental risk matrices and monitoring tools with the Tech Support team leader.
  7. Coordinate internal and external acoustic and environmental studies, ensuring optimal study conditions.
  8. Enhance knowledge of French ICPE regulations and acoustic protocols, and stay informed about methodologies used in other European countries.
  9. Contribute to optimizing noise and environmental curtailment strategies, evaluate new mitigation solutions, and review offers from OEMs and providers.
  10. Report progress, challenges, and decisions to the team leader and OMD leaders.
  11. Draft action plans, conduct root cause analysis, perform data analysis, and provide technical opinions within your expertise scope.
  12. Monitor environmental legal and technical developments in Europe.
  13. Assist in organizing and coordinating environmental inspections in France and respond to authorities' requests.
  14. Support planning and permitting processes with technical input related to your expertise.
  15. Assist the business development department in France and Belgium for re-powering projects, including study organization, criticality assessment, and report review.

Additional responsibilities, depending on profile and motivation:

  1. Participate in ISO14001 and ISO55001 tasks, including drafting and tracking corrective actions, non-conformities, KPIs, and procedures.
  2. Support the team leader and OMD leaders with technical analyses and reports on asset performance and environmental impacts.
  3. Assist in preparing presentations for top management and the parent company.
Requirements
  1. Master's or bachelor's degree in Acoustics, Ecology, Bioacoustics, or a related field.
  2. Passion for environmental protection and renewable energies.
  3. Knowledge of environmental and noise regulations and protocols.
  4. Additional knowledge of specific mitigation solutions is a plus.
  5. Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Python, VBA, etc.).
  6. Motivated, dynamic, honest, and diligent.
  7. Excellent team player, goal-oriented, curious, and quick learner.
  8. Fluent in French and English.
