In our Operation & Maintenance department, and the technical support team, you will focus on acoustics and biodiversity expertise, collaborating closely with teams involved in all projects across Europe.
The position is based in Paris La Défense (France).

Main Responsibilities
- Support acoustics and biodiversity engineering efforts, assisting department leaders, power stations, and business development teams in managing these expertise areas within the Technical Support team.
- Contribute to environmental compliance policies in acoustics and biodiversity across all CGNEE portfolios covering six European countries, with key challenges in France, Ireland, Belgium, and others.
- Provide technical support to asset managers for noise complaints and non-conformities, schedule and analyze noise studies, and balance compliance with operational efficiency during curtailments.
- Collaborate with operation managers to implement environmental measures, define mitigation strategies (A / R / C), and monitor these measures during operations.
- Coordinate with suppliers for tenders, proposals, and evaluation, managing procurement and payments.
- Maintain and optimize environmental risk matrices and monitoring tools with the Tech Support team leader.
- Coordinate internal and external acoustic and environmental studies, ensuring optimal conditions for study execution.
- Enhance knowledge of French ICPE regulations and acoustic protocols, and familiarize with methodologies used in other European countries.
- Assist in optimizing noise and environmental curtailments, evaluate new mitigation solutions, and assess offers from OEMs and providers.
- Report progress, challenges, and key decisions to the team leader and OMD leaders.
- Draft action plans, perform root cause analyses, data analyses, and provide technical opinions within your expertise scope.
- Monitor environmental legal issues in Europe and participate in organizing environmental inspections in France, responding to authorities' requests.
- Support planning permits with technical opinions and assist the business development team on re-powering projects in France and Belgium, including study organization, project criticality evaluation, and report review.
Additional responsibilities, depending on profile and motivation:
- Support ISO14001 and ISO55001 tasks, including corrective actions, non-conformity tracking, KPI evaluation, and procedure updates.
- Assist in analyzing and reporting on asset performance and environmental impacts.
- Help prepare presentations for top management and parent company meetings.
Requirements
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Acoustics, Ecology, Bioacoustics, or related fields.
- Passion for environmental protection and renewable energy.
- Knowledge of environmental and noise regulations and protocols.
- Additional expertise in mitigation solutions is a plus.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Python, VBA, etc.).
- Motivated, dynamic, diligent, and a team player.
- Fast learner with problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in French and English.
