MISSION

As Senior Global Buyer, you will act as the strategic owner of the category, driving the global retail performance through collection building, investment strategy, and regional alignment . Partnering closely with Collection Merchandising, Retail, and regional teams, you will shape the seasonal assortments and champion the business strategy from buy to in-store execution.

Your goal : build a product offer that reflects Acne Studios' creative direction while maximizing commercial opportunities across markets and channels.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

1. Collection Strategy & Seasonal Investment Planning

  • Define seasonal investment frameworks by market and channel, balancing brand vision with commercial objectives.
  • Partner with Collection Merchandising team to influence product development based on market needs and business insights.
  • Lead the preparation of seasonal buying sessions, ensuring alignment with global targets and regional expectations.
  • Identify growth opportunities and strategic priorities by market and silhouette.

2. Regional Alignment & Stakeholder Management

  • Proactively engage with regional retail leaders to gather feedback, align on local opportunities, and secure full commitment to seasonal investment strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with regional teams to ensure the buy reflects local consumer dynamics and store realities.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with regions to track performance and adjust strategies where needed.
  • Act as a key connector between central and local teams to drive unified, data-backed decision-making.

3. Performance Management & Product Insights

  • Analyze sales trends, sell-through, and stock positions globally to monitor category health and react to market needs.
  • Deliver actionable recommendations for product flows, rebalancing, markdowns, and future buys.
  • Prepare clear reporting and presentations for senior leadership, turning insights into strategic actions.
  • Partner with Planning to manage OTB and ensure optimized inventory across regions.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Visual Merchandising and Retail teams to ensure alignment of product focus and in-store execution.
  • Support Marketing teams by providing seasonal product priorities and strategic focus areas for campaigns and activations.
  • Collaborate with Planning and Supply Chain to secure timely availability of key products.

Specific experience and knowledge for this role

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or related field.
  • 5 years' experience in global merchandising, buying, or retail planning, ideally within luxury or contemporary fashion.
  • Strong analytical mindset with proven ability to translate data into strategy.
  • Excellent communication skills; experienced in managing multiple stakeholders across markets and functions.
  • Passion for fashion and deep understanding of global consumer trends.
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Fluent in English (written & spoken); additional languages are a plus.
