Job description

Acne Studios is a progressive luxury house and through collaboration and curiosity, we set high aspirations and strive for excellence. We value everyone’s contribution and embrace feedback to develop ourselves and others. We aim to minimise our environmental impact across all our operations and to address societal challenges in the way we conduct our business.

We are excited to announce we are now accepting applications for our Internship Program. This is an opportunity for students to apply their educational knowledge into a professional working environment and establish themselves in the fashion industry. This program combines on-the-job training with related practical and theoretical learning sessions within our Product & Design, Commercial and Marketing & Communications departments.

The program is based at our office in Paris and is a full-time program, running over a period of six months from February 2nd, 2027, until July 23rd, 2027.

WHO YOU ARE

We are looking for students who are currently enrolled in a fashion, textile and/or business-related higher education. You have high aspirations and understand the importance of excellence. You have a curious mindset and strong willingness to learn, and you don’t hesitate to ask for help to find the right solution. You want to convert your theoretical knowledge into practical skills in a dynamic and innovative fashion industry setting, where creativity thrives, and the pace is fast.

You are available the full period and it is required that you hold an EU passport or a valid French work permit during the entire period. Acne Studios is a global company with English as working language. Fluency in both written and spoken English is therefore a must.

THE ROLE

In this role you will be a part of the day-to-day work in your designated team and participate in structured training modules. We will assign you a mentor to support you in your learning experience throughout the program. You will also be part of the larger interns’ group in our company.

Throughout this program, you will join a team within one of our departments that focuses on a specific area of the business. You will remain a part of this team for the entire duration of the program.

  • Design: Our design teams create shapes and mock-ups and translate design proposals into products. Get the knowledge of the whole design cycle, from the initial design idea to a finalized and engineered product. The design teams you can apply to include womenswear design and knitwear design.
  • Pattern & Atelier: This team follows the creative development of styles from the first sketch to last production fittings. They create high quality patterns to external suppliers and in-house atelier, as well as toiles, sample makings, and alterations for design collection presentations and fashion shows.
  • Technical Design: The technical design team supports product development through technical sketches, fittings, and technical documentation. The team translates design concepts into detailed drawings in Illustrator based on sketches, drapes, and reference images, helping ensure well-constructed and consistent products.
  • Fabric & Trims: Be a part of a team that works with raw material from initial research, creative development through to delivery in close partnership with our mills and suppliers considering company and sustainability targets.
  • Collection Merchandising: The team sets up a numeric and qualitative framework in line with the business strategy and market opportunities. They provide the commercial team with product knowledge and buying inputs and set target retail prices considering Acne Studios’ price positioning and margin expectations.
  • Buying: Our buying team (cross-category) is driving commercial performance across regions. They are contributing to sales analysis, collection feedback, product performance monitoring, and buying session preparation.
  • Wholesale: The wholesale team plays a key role in distributing products to retailers and multi-brand stores. They develop and manage commercial relationships with external partners.
  • Visual Merchandising: Our visual merchandising team supports the creation and maintenance of VM guidelines and visual content. They coordinate weekly VM communications, maintain operational tools and calendars, and assist with showroom setups and PR updates to ensure a consistent brand experience.
  • Public Relations: Be a part of the global showroom team that is involved in a wide range of activities, including managing press samples and collections, assisting with media monitoring and reporting, and helping coordinate showroom meetings.
  • Social Media: Be part of the global social media team that manages and oversees the brand’s social channels. They oversee the social media strategy and are responsible for day-to-day content planning, driving audience engagement and managing the brand’s online communities across platforms.
