As Designer at our Paris Office, you will :

• Provide strong, forward thinking creativity with the ability and understanding to translate design proposals into products
• Contribute to ensure product line is consistent with company's identity and as well as demands and expectations from design director

The contract will be for 6-months , ideally starting asap.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As Designer, you will report to the Collection & Studio Manager. You will play a vital role by :

• Creating strong collections according to the direction set out by the creative director across the designated product categories and special projects
• Proposing new emerging stylistic trends, concepts and potential collaborations
• Participating in design process from research stage, colour and material choice through to drawings and draping's
• Attending fittings and follow-up on finalization and validation of prototypes to SMS
• Doing research and competitive benchmark
• Maintaining a good working process with cross functional partners such as pattern and product development

Specific experience and knowledge for this role :

• Academic degree from design and / or textile education
• Experience in working within a design studio for at least 4 years preferable from high-end brands
• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
• Strong research, conceptual and creative skills
• Good sketching skills, understanding and sense of proportions, shape, colour and material
