What is my role?

You will report directly to the Purchasing Manager of a Business Division within the ALE Group. As a Specialist Buyer, you will be primarily responsible for ensuring that all purchasing assignments are executed and completed in a timely manner to support the activities of the Business Division. You will also manage and develop a portfolio of EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services providers) and ODM (Original Design Manufacturers).

What are my responsibilities?

As a Specialist Buyer for an ALE Business Division managing a portfolio of EMS and ODM, your responsibilities include:

1. The supplier selection process for new projects.
2. Negotiating contracts, amendments, and T&Cs with suppliers.
3. Managing and developing the commercial relationships with suppliers.
4. Continuous improvement of suppliers' performance.
5. Identifying commercial risks and managing them appropriately.
6. Managing escalations with suppliers, EMS, and ODM.
7. Promoting ALE's Purchasing strategy and policy, including production transfers when necessary.

You will also participate in developing the purchasing strategy for one of ALE's Business Divisions and manage relations with internal partners and managers of main suppliers (EMS, ODM, OEM).
