Job summary

ANINE BING seeks a Paris-based Accounting Manager to lead AP and general accounting for entities in France, the UK, the US and more. You will partner with stakeholders across functions, drive process improvements, and manage a small accounting team.

The role requires a hands-on senior accounting background, fluency in English, and strong knowledge of French GAAP with exposure to US GAAP/IFRS. Hybrid work from Paris HQ with one remote day per week.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting, including at least 2 years managing a team in an international, multi-entity environment.
• Senior profile with a hands-on mindset balancing managerial duties with detailed accounting work.
• Strong command of French GAAP; exposure to US GAAP or IFRS is a plus.
• Solid hands-on expertise across AP and general accounting: close cycles, reconciliations, intercompany, accruals.
• Proven project management mindset and Finance × IT sensitivity: ERP rollouts, AP automation, expense tools.
• Genuine business partner mindset, collaborating across operations and HQ.
• Fluent English; French is a strong asset; comfortable with US time zones.
• Experience in retail, fashion, e-commerce or consumer goods is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end accounts payable across multi-entity operations (vendor onboarding, invoicing, payments, expenses).
• Lead general accounting operations: journal entries, reconciliations, fixed assets, accruals, prepayments, intercompany bookings, month-end close.
• Manage and develop a three-person team—set priorities, coach, review work, build technical depth.
• Partner with Accounting & Tax Director on policies, controls, and process improvements.
• Lead Finance × IT initiatives: AP automation, ERP enhancements, expense systems, approval workflows.
• Support audits and tax filings across entities with schedules and reconciliations.
• Act as a true business partner to Operations, Procurement, Retail, HQ.
