About the Job

As an Accounting Manager you will be responsible for tracking, monitoring and evaluating day-to-day accounting tasks and activities to ensure our company's performance and success.

We will count on you to:

  • Ensure that financial results for local legal entities are accurate. Oversee and be responsible for the preparation of all monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting activities, all statutory fillings and local tax matters, support the transfer pricing document preparation in cooperation with tax consultant. P&L and Balance sheet are also in accordance with US GAAP. Ensure that all reconciliations (done by shared service centres) are accurate and completed in a timely fashion.
  • Responsible for the effective operational management of a team of 1 HC, improving processes with the assignment of objectives and evaluation of results. Positive attitude, inclusive working style and effective communication skills are essential.
  • The role will require a strong connection with Eugene/Pune and Bucharest team (Shared Service Centre) to ensure smooth operations between the country and the shared service centres.
  • Provide assistance to local Management on local projects within the finance/tax area in different.
  • Liaises with internal and external auditors and subject matter experts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise monthly closure and reconciliations and ensure accounting transactions are performed correctly on time.
  • Preparation and closing of the statutory financial statements and group packages in accordance with local GAAP and US GAAP and in collaboration with tax consultants and auditors
  • Control of all VAT and corporate tax requirements
  • Interaction with the shared service centre for accounting and administration issues
  • Management, updating and optimizing of all administrative-financial processes and procedures in accordance with internal audits rules

About You

  • Degree in Business Administration or similar in the Accounting and Finance areas
  • minimum of 4 years' experience in a responsibility role in a modern structured and international company
  • proactive approach, organizational capacity, problem solving, confidentiality, ability to work in a team and leadership experience.
  • good knowledge of tax legislation and general accounting of financial statements in local GAAP and US GAAP
  • Fluent in written and spoken English;
  • Good knowledge of SAP
  • Strong knowledge of Office package and in particular Excel at an advanced level
