Accounting & Controlling Specialist Southern Europe (m/f/d)

What you move with us
  • Business Partner (m/f/d) of the Vice President of the Southern Europe region and member of the regional management team.
  • Assist and collaborate with the headquarters' teams to implement the Group's strategy.
  • Interim supervision of the "Finance" teams of the Southern Europe region.
  • Implement and maintain appropriate financial support structures for the assigned sector.
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with local GAAP and IFRS accounting principles and standards for France and Spain, and supervision for Italy.
  • Ensure compliance with legal filing requirements for entities in the region (France, Spain, Italy).
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws and company policies.
  • Maintaining an effective risk management system.
  • Preparation of budgets, forecasts (monthly, quarterly and rolling yearly), monthly reports and management reports.
  • Elaboration, review and analysis of monthly financial results including a description of the region's performance; ad hoc analyses. Foster effective communication and continuous improvement. Proactively monitor and strive to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy and consistency of processes.
  • Work with various stakeholders from the Southern European region and the Group to discuss results, understand trends for the development of decision support materials.
  • Ensure robust cash management, including cash flow forecasts.
  • Management payroll France (internal) and Spain (vendor).
  • Main point of contact with auditors, tax advisors, external service providers, banks, insurance companies.
  • Organize regular reviews of transactions, preparation of business cases and investment decisions.
  • Active talent development facilitating learning and staff development, human resources administration.
  • Develop and continuously improve financial systems and processes.
  • Represent the finance sector in Southern Europe at regular group-wide meetings and exchanges of best practices.
What you bring with you
  • A minimum of 7 years' experience working in a finance role.
  • Qualified Accountant (m/f/d) or previous Auditor (m/f/d).
  • Ideally with experience in software/technology sector.
  • Ideally prior experience with SAP BusinessByDesign.
  • Organizational skills, sound judgement and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent social skills, able to communicate with financial and non-financial people.
  • Fluent French; excellent command of English
