SEIDOR in Paris is seeking an experienced Accounting Business Analyst to support a major Capital Markets System transformation for an international financial institution. You will analyse treasury accounting requirements, translate IFRS/IPSAS standards into system specs, and help design the target accounting model and sub-ledger.

The role requires strong accounting experience in capital markets and hands-on Murex MX.3 expertise, with the ability to coordinate with stakeholders and ensure

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience in capital markets, loans, or treasury.
• Experience implementing Murex MX.3 Accounting module.
• Ability to translate complex accounting requirements into system configurations.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or IPSAS.
• Fluent in English and French.

Responsabilités

• Analyse accounting requirements related to treasury activities, funding and financial instruments.
• Translate applicable accounting standards (IFRS and/or IPSAS) into functional system requirements.
• Define and validate the target accounting model, including events, posting rules, valuation, accruals, and FX treatment.
• Contribute to the design of the accounting sub-ledger, including COA, dimensions and posting schemes.
• Configure and validate accounting rules within the Treasury Management System.
• Support integration between the Murex sub-ledger and General Ledger.
• Define rules and controls for manual accounting entries.
• Support accounting reconciliations, controls and reporting.
• Define and execute accounting test scenarios (unit, integration, end-to-end).
• Analyse and resolve accounting discrepancies found during testing.
• Support Accounting users during UAT.

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Business Analyst to join our team in Paris, supporting a major Capital Markets System (CMS) transformation programme for an international financial institution.

WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR DAY-TO-DAY?

• Analyse accounting requirements related to treasury activities, funding and financial instruments.
• Translate applicable accounting standards (IFRS and/or IPSAS) into functional system requirements.
• Define and validate the target accounting model, including accounting events, posting rules, valuation principles, accruals, remeasurements and FX treatment.
• Contribute to the design of the accounting sub-ledger, including chart of accounts, accounting dimensions and posting schemes.
• Configure and validate accounting rules within the Treasury Management System.
• Support the integration between the Murex sub-ledger and General Ledger.
• Define rules and controls for manual accounting entries.
• Support accounting reconciliations, controls and reporting.
• Define and execute accounting test scenarios, including unit testing, integration testing and end-to-end accounting cycles.
• Analyse and resolve accounting discrepancies identified during testing.
• Support Accounting users throughout User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Requirements

• Fluency in English and French.
• Minimum 5 years of strong accounting experience covering capital markets, loans and/or treasury products.
• Hands‑on experience implementing the Murex MX.3 Accounting module, ideally within a consulting environment.
• Strong hands‑on experience with accounting sub‑ledgers in core systems.
• Ability to translate complex accounting requirements into system configuration.
• Strong understanding of accounting events, posting rules, reconciliations and General Ledger integration.
• Good understanding of treasury and financial instruments.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

NICE TO HAVE

• Previous experience with comparable front‑to‑back Capital Markets or Treasury Management platforms.
• Experience within a development bank, supranational institution, multilateral financial institution or similar banking environment.
• Previous experience with TMS implementation methodologies.
• Strong requirements‑gathering and workshop facilitation capabilities.
