Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Préparer les réconciliations bancaires et surveiller les transactions.
• Participer aux processus de clôture mensuels.
• Améliorer la gestion de la trésorerie et les processus comptables.

About Aria

Aria is a leading payment infrastructure platform designed for B2B software applications, enabling seamless integration of invoice payment capabilities into their products. Our solution operates quietly behind the scenes, embedded within popular transactional tools and marketplaces, facilitating daily transactions for buyers and suppliers.

Our core mission focuses on accelerating invoice payments by enhancing the overall payment experience and, in most instances, advancing funds. We are already working with a substantial list of customers who have successfully integrated our API, marking just the beginning of our journey to be the one-tool solution for processing B2B payments.

Job description

At Aria, finance is a strategic priority. Our financial challenges range from ensuring timely reporting and accounting to managing investor relations with debtors. As we expand into new verticals and geographies, we aim to structure the finance function. This role is uniquely positioned at the intersection of strategy, product, accounting, and capital markets.

You will report to the Head of Finance and Director of Accounting. You will collaborate closely with the Risk, Operations, and Sales teams internally, as well as with investors and external consultants.

Accounting

• Prepare bank statement reconciliations and monitor account transactions
• Assist with data entry of invoices, expenses, and receipts into accounting systems
• Participate in monthly closing processes, including follow-up on prepaid expenses and unreceived invoices
• Learn and apply accounting principles and procedures under supervision

Build

• Improve cash flow management and accounting processes
• Establish sound financial management processes to support the company's growth
• Implement new expense and accounting tools

Report

• Report monthly financial performance to equity investors and internal stakeholders
• Report to debt financiers on a monthly, quarterly, and half-yearly basis

The ideal profile

• Rigorous, organized, and a strong team player
• Enrolled in an apprenticeship program for DCG, DSCG, or Finance Master’s degree
• Preferred work-study pattern: 3 days / 2 days or 4 days / 1 day

• Qualifications
• Minimum of 3 years higher education (Bac+3 validated)
• Fluent in French and English
• Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets
• Knowledge of Pennylane
