Job summary

Harmattan AI is seeking an Accounting Assistant Apprentice to support the purchase-to-pay (P2P) cycle and bank bookkeeping as we build out our accounting function with Odoo. You will record transactions, prepare documentation, and perform first-level accounting checks across multiple entities in a fast-paced, defense-tech environment.

Ideal candidates are students transitioning from BTS to DCG, with a focus on Finance or Accounting, basic experience with Odoo, strong rigor, and professional

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BTS-DCG degree with a focus on Finance, Control, Audit, or Accounting.
• Experience with Odoo is a plus (internal training provided).
• Rigor and adherence to control procedures are essential, especially in a multi-entity environment with a sensitive payment cycle.
• Professional proficiency in English is required, including reading, writing, and group communication.

Responsibilities

• Expense claims: review expense reports across multiple entities for supporting documents, VAT, coding, and policy compliance.
• Process manual expense claims: check mileage rates, ensure trip-document consistency, apply caps.
• Supplier invoices: record in Odoo and ensure approvals align with accounting and analytical coding.
• Supplier/bank details (RIB): create and verify supplier records and bank details, limited to preparation and document control.
• Treasury: classify bank transactions in Odoo and perform bank reconciliations for French entities.
