The Role

About the role:

The Accountant will maintain accurate financial records, ensure compliance with accounting principles, and provide financial insights to support the company's financial health. Key responsibilities include:

• Accounts Payable and Receivable
• Payroll Management
• Financial Reporting according to the German Commercial Code (HGB)
• German Tax Compliance
• Expense Management
• Audit Support
• Process Improvement
• E-Commerce

Ideal Profile

Your experience:

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role
• Familiarity with general accounting practices, German accounting regulations, and systems
• Knowledge of German Commercial Code (HGB) and IFRS
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with ERP Next is preferred but not required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of German is a plus
