A leading technology firm in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage financial operations and contribute to monthly and quarterly closings. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Key tasks include processing invoices, conducting VAT declarations, and supporting administrative duties. Knowledge of US GAAP is a plus. This role offers a full-time opportunity within a collaborative team environment.

Overview

Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional with a passion for precision, versatility and team spirit? We are looking for a full time dynamic Accountant to join our collaborative team. Under the guidance of our Accountancy and Finance Manager, you’ll play a key role in managing day-to-day financial operations, contributing to monthly and quarterly closings, and supporting administrative tasks that keep our office running smoothly.

Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day financial operations; contribute to monthly and quarterly closings.
  • Daily records of bank changes, bank reconciliation, cash management.
  • Control and registration of supplier invoices; follow-up of payments.
  • Record of customer invoices; follow-up of payments.
  • VAT declarations and miscellaneous taxes; payments and accountancy records.
  • Payroll journal entries; fixed assets and depreciation.
  • Chores related to payables and receivables; accrued/deferred expenses.
  • Contribution to monthly and quarterly closure; analysis of balances and account justifications; reporting statements.
  • Production of mandatory accountancy and analytic documents.
  • Miscellaneous administrative tasks: reception, filing, support of trip organization, meetings, visitors.

Education and Experience
