As a Lead Data Scientist, you drive the ITONICS AI and Data Science vision, developing and executing strategies to create innovative, data-driven SaaS products while aligning with market dynamics and business goals. You will lead a high-performing team to deliver impactful analytics, machine learning solutions, and actionable insights that enhance decision-making and product excellence.

Your Day-to-Day Tasks

1. Strategic Leadership: Establish the Data Science and AI mission, vision, and strategic direction; design and prioritize a comprehensive roadmap for innovative, analytics-driven ITONICS products aligned with business objectives and market dynamics.
2. AI & Analytics: Drive the development and integration of advanced analytics models, scalable machine learning solutions, and natural language processing techniques to deliver actionable insights, improve customer experiences, and create competitive advantages.
3. Operational Excellence: Develop and enforce best practices, methodologies, algorithms, and standardized software libraries to ensure consistency, efficiency, and scalability in project delivery and data-driven solutions.
4. Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with senior management as well as product and engineering teams to align AI initiatives with customer needs and organizational goals, ensuring seamless integration of machine learning and analytics features into the ITONICS products.
5. Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing Data Science and Machine Learning team, fostering innovation, technical excellence, and a collaborative, customer-focused culture.

Your Skills & Qualifications

REQUIRED

1. Machine Learning & Data Science: Understanding of machine learning algorithms, model training, and validation processes; familiarity with libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-Learn.
2. Big Data Technologies: Experience with big data processing tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
3. Exposure to ML & NLP: Exposure to deep learning models and natural language processing.
4. Database Management: Experience with OpenSearch, SQL, and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, DynamoDB), as well as data management tools (e.g., ETL processes).
5. Programming Skills: Experienced in Python.
6. Version Control: Proficiency with the Git version control system.
7. Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex software issues.
8. Soft Skills: Strong skills in remote leadership, collaboration, ownership, and accountability, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and take responsibility for project outcomes.

NICE TO HAVE

1. Data Visualization: Proficiency in data visualization tools such as D3.js, Plotly, or similar, and experience translating complex data into clear visuals.
2. Back-End Services: Knowledge of Node.js or Golang.
3. Web Technologies: Familiarity with RESTful and GQL API development.
