Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting professional to join our team. In this role you’ll manage core accounting functions across banking, customers, suppliers and month end close processes. You’ll play a key part in ensuring our financial accuracy, compliance and smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle Daily Banking: Process transactions in EUR/USD, perform weekly reconciliations, and support cash flow forecasting for the treasury team

• Customer Accounting: Prepare and send invoices, follow up on unpaid accounts, and release orders in Oracle

• Supplier Accounting: Enter and validate invoices (Oracle & Coupa), manage payments, and update tracking files (e.g., vehicles, mobile phones)

• Expense Management: Review and post employee expense reports in Oracle/Concur

• Tax & Compliance: Prepare and submit VAT and other regulatory declarations

• Month-End Close: Assist with reconciliations, prepare accruals, and review balance sheetaccounts to ensure accurate reporting

Essential Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

• Bac+2 in accounting with at least 5 years of experience

• OR a Bachelor's degree in accounting with 10+ years in a similar role

Technical Skills:

• Solid knowledge of general accounting principles

• Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc)

• Comfortable working with Erp systems (Oracle strongly preferred)

Language

• Working proficiency in English (Written and verbal)

Please note this is a hybrid role with 3 days a week in our Orleans office.
