Qualifications

• 4+ années d'expérience en comptabilité pour une entreprise française.
• Connaissance approfondie des lois fiscales françaises et des exigences de reporting.

We are expanding our global team and looking for an Accountant to bring their wider knowledge and help us get our product and service more widely known and used.

Responsibilities :

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including posting transactions, month-end close activities, internal and external reporting, and annual audits.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in compliance with French GAAP (Plan Comptable Général - PCG) and local tax regulations.
• Act as the sole accountant for the French entity, serving as the primary point of contact for all accounting and tax-related matters. Communicate directly with local accounting and tax advisors.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, preparing annual financial statements (liasse fiscale) and other statutory reports.
• Ensure compliance with DSN (Déclaration Sociale Nominative) for payroll reporting.
• Liaise with tax advisors, auditors, and regulatory bodies (URSSAF, DGFiP, INSEE) to ensure full compliance with French tax laws and reporting obligations.
• Stay updated on changes in French tax and labor regulations and implement necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.

Requirements :

• 4+ years of experience in Accounting / Bookkeeping for a French company.
• Strong knowledge of French GAAP (PCG), tax laws, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Experience with French payroll taxes and employer obligations.
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Highly autonomous and transparent in work approach.
• Proactive and action-oriented, with a ‘default to action’ mentality.
• Self-starter with a strong motivation to deliver.
