Accountant Position

Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional with a passion for precision, versatility, and team spirit? We are seeking a full-time dynamic Accountant to join our collaborative team. Under the guidance of our Accountancy and Finance Manager, you will play a key role in managing day-to-day financial operations, contributing to monthly and quarterly closings, and supporting administrative tasks that keep our office running smoothly.

Responsibilities

  2. Accountancy registrations:
  • Banks: Daily records of bank changes, Bank Reconciliation, Cash Management
  • Suppliers: Control and registration of invoices, Follow-up of payments
  • Customers: Record of invoices, Follow-up of payments
  • Tax: VAT Declarations and miscellaneous taxes, Payments and accountancy records
  • Miscellaneous operations: Payroll journal entries, Fixed assets and depreciation, Charges to pay and invoices to receive and establish (accrued/deferred expenses)
  • Additional Tasks
    • Contribution to monthly and quarterly closure
    • Analysis of balances and account justifications
    • Reporting statements
    • Production of mandatory accountancy and analytic documents
    • Miscellaneous administrative tasks such as reception, filing, support for trip organization, meetings, and visitors
    Requirements
    Necessary competencies
    • Good command of English
    • Knowledge of general accountancy
    • Administrative skills
    • Proficiency with accounting software
    • Proficiency with Office tools (Excel, Word, etc.)
    • Knowledge of US GAAP rules is a plus
    Education and Experience

    Minimum A-level (Baccalaureate) +2 or +3 in accountancy (BTS/HDN, DUT/Technical diploma in Accountancy - DCG -) and at least 3 years of professional experience in similar roles.
