Account Manager Travel Retail Europe - EXPORT EUROPE

Based in Paris

Fixed term contract starting ASAP until end of December 2025

YOUR ROLE

Within the Travel Retail and Local Export Markets Europe department, the Account Manager is responsible for monitoring and optimizing the operations of one of our three main Travel Retail accounts in the Europe region (Lagardère, Dufry, or Heineman operator), working directly with the Area Manager, and actively participating in account development. You will support the Area Manager in managing the account sustainably and efficiently by maintaining a relevant commercial relationship daily to implement the brand strategy and ensure optimal support of the Travel Retail operator.

What Impact You Create At Chanel
  • You will guarantee good operational management of the account and ensure the proper application of negotiated commercial agreements (participate in defining annual agreements, follow-up, and action plans).
  • You will perform performance analyses (sell-in and sell-out of accounts, airports, and shops) to inform negotiation strategies and account development (reports, recommendations, etc.).
  • You will identify growth opportunities and propose strategies to develop the brand in your area.
  • You will handle operational requests from the operator and provide appropriate recommendations.
  • You will prepare, with support from the Area Manager, the annual negotiations for the account.
  • You will manage the forecasting process in collaboration with the account manager, sales assistant, and business experts.
  • You will work closely with the Travel Retail Sales Managers to analyze, consolidate, and share field knowledge internally.
  • You will ensure effective communication and operational collaboration with all internal teams (Marketing, Press, Learning, Customer Service, etc.).
  • You will coordinate and ensure proper implementation of brand activation in your account.
  • You will be responsible for developing the strategic cruises distribution channel, including defining ambitions, optimizing distribution, and animations.
What You Will Bring

A Master’s degree with initial successful experience in Business or Marketing.

Strong analytical skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and marketing sensitivity. Strategic and business-oriented mindset.

Rigorous, organized, and results-driven.

Excellent level of English required.

Position based in Paris with frequent travel.
