The account manager will take responsibility of a selection of OEM customers managed by TE Connectivity in France. The main objective is to develop sales in the area for the complete TE portfolio.
- Will develop sales on TE Connectivity range of components with the help of internal organisation and services
- Base target is formalized every year and is based on projects award, sales budget and other key achievements based on TE strategy
- Prices and business negotiation with the customers following rules and instructions given by management
- Promotion, presentation of TE products in front of the customer
- Identify the key contacts at the customer, and establish the relationship
- Develop OEM account plan according to the TE strategy
- Will know his customers market in detail, competition stand and will propose appropriate tactics to grow TE Connectivity share short and long term
- Lead the project activity during the RFQ phases from PAC (Project Approval Committee) Gate 1 to Gate 2
- For non-standard products, will contribute to the project management tasks in collaboration with a senior Account Manager
- Will assure an effective close relationship with the customer and will be the interface between the customer organization and TE internal services (Engineering, Quality, Procurement, Finance & Customer service…)
- Key customer visits/meetings will be formalized through written reports
- Will ensure regular reporting to direct manager.
- Engineering degree or equivalent is preferred.
- A first experience in automotive industry within a technical function eg) Sales engineer, Customer account management, Field application engineer
- Working experience with/at the French OEMs (Renault-Nissan, Stellantis) is welcomed
- Methodology, autonomy, good communication skills, team work
- Fluent in French and English language. Turkish, Japanese skills are welcomed.
- Good approach to people from different areas at customer and within TE in France and other countries;
- Efficiency and initiative at local level; close communication is necessary with different departments at TE
- Competencies on project management
- Capacity to work in a pluridisciplinary environment
- Open minded and understanding to the foreign cultures
- Frequent visits to customer locations in France, occasionally TE plants in the region and the regional headquarter in Germany
