Role Overview
The Account Growth Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of existing clients ensuring their success with SaleCycle's solutions while identifying and capitalising on upsell and cross-sell opportunities. This role focuses on client retention, satisfaction, and growing revenue within the existing customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of key accounts.
- Conduct regular cadence with customers to ensure proximity.
- Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their business objectives.
- Proactively identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to drive revenue growth; own the full sales process from prospecting to closure.
- Develop customised account plans to align SaleCycle's solutions with client goals to meet and exceed individual sales targets.
- Ensure successful renewal of client contracts by delivering exceptional service and value.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve client issues promptly and effectively.
- Provide clients with insights on industry trends, product updates, and best practices.
- Monitor account health and prepare performance reports to track success metrics.
- Stay informed about competitors and market trends to position SaleCycle as a strategic partner.
- Relationship Management: Ability to build strong trust-based relationships with clients, understanding their needs and business objectives.
- Sales & Negotiation: Confident in identifying revenue opportunities, presenting solutions persuasively, and handling negotiations effectively.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly to different stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Proactive and resourceful in resolving client challenges with a focus on delivering value and maintaining satisfaction.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong analytical skills to interpret account performance data, track success metrics, and derive actionable insights.
- Collaboration: Works effectively with internal teams including sales, marketing, product, and customer success to ensure seamless client experiences.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritise multiple accounts, meetings, and projects while maintaining high levels of responsiveness and service.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in account management, customer success, or a related role in SaaS.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex client relationships and meet revenue targets.
- Strong interpersonal communication and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and account management tools.
