Metric Marketing is a marketing agency that takes a strategic, digitally driven approach to creating impactful solutions for clients. Team members collaborate with a talented group of creatives, developers, strategists, and marketers to help businesses across North America define their competitive advantage, strengthen audience relationships, and drive engagement.

The Position:

The Account Executive will play a key role in managing client relationships and executing strategic marketing initiatives. This position is ideal for a proactive and client-focused professional who excels at problem-solving, communication, and project coordination. Working as a trusted partner, the Account Executive will ensure that marketing solutions align with client goals while driving results and fostering long-term relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring seamless communication, trust, and long-term partnerships. Advocate for client needs within the agency, maintaining alignment with their business objectives.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their marketing challenges and business goals, translating them into actionable strategies. Collaborate with internal teams to execute data-driven marketing solutions that deliver measurable impact.
  • Project Coordination & Execution: Oversee day-to-day account operations, ensuring marketing initiatives are executed on time and within scope. Manage project timelines, deliverables, and client expectations.
  • Retention & Growth: Focus on maintaining strong client relationships through regular check-ins, performance reviews, and proactive recommendations. Address concerns promptly and explore opportunities to expand agency-client partnerships.
  • Marketing Plan Support: Assist in the development and presentation of strategic marketing plans tailored to client objectives. Provide insights and recommendations based on industry trends and campaign performance.
  • Performance Tracking & Insights: Monitor marketing campaign effectiveness, analyze data, and present findings to clients. Use insights to refine strategies and demonstrate ROI, reinforcing the agency’s value.

Qualifications:

  • Post-Secondary Education in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of client-facing experience, ideally within a marketing agency or sales environment.
  • Strong business acumen: Understanding of market trends and the ability to align marketing initiatives with business objectives.
  • Project management experience: Ability to manage multiple client accounts and coordinate deliverables across teams.
  • Excellent communication skills: Strong verbal and written abilities, with a client-first approach to presenting ideas and solutions.
  • Analytical mindset: Comfortable using data insights to inform marketing strategies and client recommendations.
  • Proactive & goal-oriented: Self-motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, focused on achieving results.
  • Organizational skills: Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with efficiency and attention to detail.
