Job Description: EF Course Leader

A journey from the unfamiliar to the unforgettable!

As an EF Course Leader, you will travel abroad with a group of students during school holidays. The trips last from two to four weeks, depending on the course and destination. You must be available to support students whenever needed. Activities include dancing at discos, playing football, and relaxing at the beach.

You will work in an international environment, meeting and collaborating with people from around the world. The students are aged 10-17 and study English, Spanish, German, or Korean. While many activities and excursions are planned, your role as a leader will significantly enhance the students’ experience.

Your key tasks

1. Travel with a group of students to/from destinations such as the UK, Ireland, Malta, USA, Canada, Australia, Spain, Germany, or Korea.
2. Work as part of an international team, reporting to the local manager and collaborating with colleagues to look after the students.
3. Be available 24/7 to support students, making quick decisions when necessary.
4. Ensure students’ safety, happiness, and integration into the group and program.
5. Assist with student arrivals and departures.
6. Promote activities and encourage participation by leading and researching options.
7. Conduct daily meetings to communicate activity information and upcoming events.
8. Attend and run activities, researching options and planning with local staff.
9. Manage funds for bus passes and excursions.
10. Monitor attendance and maintain records.
11. Participate in staff meetings and duty rotas.
12. Enforce safety rules and the EF behaviour code, reporting issues promptly.
13. Work late hours, such as at discos.

• Passionate about working with dynamic people, with experience in teaching, scouting, coaching, or similar roles.
• Experienced in travelling, studying, or living abroad.
• Willing to attend training before the contract starts.
