Job Description:

City One, founded in 1991 by Sophie Péricaux, is an independent group and a key player in the hospitality industry. We specialize in various sectors including corporate reception, event hosting, animation, sales promotion, cultural reception, and transportation reception, including airport and railway services.

We are recruiting Railway Assistants and Guides (H/F) to provide onboard assistance on trains departing from the SNCF station in Grenoble 38000. We welcome applicants of all profiles, including retirees and students, for roles as transport reception agents.

This position involves working on a round-trip train service within a day, departing at 13:00 and returning around 20:14, on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. The contract runs from May to September, lasting 5 months, with part-time hours (2 to 3 days per week, 12 to 14 hours weekly).

The role requires availability to work flexible hours based on train schedules, with occasional overnight stays in Marseille on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays (hotel accommodation provided). The job involves standing for extended periods and physical activity, including bicycle handling.

Main responsibilities include:

• Welcoming and assisting travelers onboard the train,
• Helping passengers board and disembark with their luggage.

Additional duties may be assigned during school holiday periods. The hourly gross salary ranges from €11.88 to €11.98.

Note: This is a part-time CDD position, intended as a supplementary activity.

Candidate Profile:

Applicants must have a recent (less than 2 months old) criminal record check (apply for yours now) and complete a mandatory training session in Lyon. Availability on Saturdays and Sundays is required.
