Accelerator - Digital Data Scientist - All Gender

Main responsibilities :

1. Work with business teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical needs.
2. Apply data science expertise in machine learning, statistics, forecasting, and optimization to various AI projects and products.
3. Gather and organize large, complex data assets; perform relevant analysis to propose and implement suitable data models for each business case.
4. Build models, algorithms, simulations, and experiments by writing optimized code and utilizing state-of-the-art machine learning technologies.
5. Engage in activities from conducting ML experiments to delivering production-ready models.
6. Use data analysis, visualization, storytelling, and data technologies to scope, define, and deliver AI-based data products.
7. Collaborate with developers, engineers, and MLOps teams to deploy AI/ML solutions.

Experience

• Experience developing deployable code and deploying models in a product-focused, agile environment.
• Proven track record applying machine learning/deep learning to solve molecule-related problems.
• Experience with database mining, big data, and large-scale virtual screening using Bayesian Optimization or Gaussian Processes is preferred.
• Expertise with sensitive data in critical environments (healthcare, defense, etc.).
• Experience in healthcare is a strong plus.
• Ability to work with multiple teams to align goals and achieve results.
• Self-motivated, proactive, with problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Technical skills :

• Proficiency in business analysis, data visualization, and storytelling.
• Expertise with core data science languages (Python, R, Scala) and familiarity with databases (SQL, NoSQL).
• Knowledge in supervised/unsupervised learning, deep learning, LLMs, reinforcement learning, federated learning, time series forecasting, Bayesian statistics, and optimization.
• Comfortable working in cloud and high-performance computing environments (AWS, GCP, Databricks, Spark).
• Hands-on experience with complex datasets and understanding of AI/ML theoretical foundations (CI/CD, orchestration).
• Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, Plotly, or similar tools.
• Experience with enterprise APIs.
• Good understanding of AI regulations.

Education :

• PhD in mathematics, computer science, engineering, physics, statistics, economics, or a related quantitative discipline with strong coding skills, OR a Master’s Degree in a relevant domain.
