Accelerator - Digital Data Engineer - All Gender
Challenging the status quo to ensure the seamless creation and operation of data pipelines for enterprise data and analytics initiatives, following industry standards and tools for the betterment of global patients and customers.
Main responsibilities:
- Work with business teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical needs.
- Gather and organize large, complex data assets and perform relevant analysis.
- Ensure data quality in coordination with Data Analysts and Data Scientists (peer validation).
- Propose and implement relevant data models for each business case.
- Partner with Product Owner and Data Analysts to prioritize pipeline implementation plans.
- Design pipelines relevant for business requirements in collaboration with Data Analysts and Data Scientists.
- Enforce best practices in data manipulation end-to-end.
- Contribute actively to the Data Governance community.
Experience:
- Strong experience with automation tools and methodologies.
- Experience working with data models and query tuning.
- Knowledge of compliance (e.g., quality, regulatory, data privacy, GxP, SOX) and cybersecurity requirements is a plus.
- Experience in the healthcare industry is a strong plus.
- Proven ability to work with multiple teams to drive alignment and results.
- Self-motivated with initiative, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Technical skills:
- Experience with AWS cloud services; Azure & GCP experience is a plus.
- Good knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.
- Experience with Data Warehousing solutions (Snowflake is a plus).
- Experience with Integration Services (IICS, Tibco is a plus).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, R is a plus).
- Familiarity with Source Code Management Tools (GitHub is a plus).
- Experience with Visualization Tools (PowerBI, Tableau are a plus).
- Knowledge of Project Management Tools (JIRA, Confluence are a plus).
- Familiarity with Service Management Tools (ServiceNow is a plus).
- Relevant cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, Snowflake, IICS) are advantageous.
- Experience with backup systems like Netbackup & CommVault.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow and monitoring tools such as Datadog, Splunk, BPPM.
- Experience with Real World Data (e.g., EHR, Claims) and data models (OMOP, FHIR).
- Experience with pipeline frameworks (Apache Airflow, Kedro).
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field.
