Main responsibilities:

• Lead the R&D Accelerator data strategy & design solutions for innovative products; translate high-level business requirements into data models, metadata, test data, and data quality standards.
• Implement data foundations architecture and design to meet business needs, including research, development, CMC, clinical, regulatory, and pharmacovigilance.
• Simplify data strategy by delivering reusable services and cost-saving opportunities in line with group policies and standards.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise data models and logical data groups throughout the product lifecycle.
• Provide clear data architecture leadership within products and participate in architectural governance forums.
• Participate in supplier selection, evaluating products for usefulness and cost.
• Create and maintain current and target-state data architectures.
• Align technology solutions with enterprise data architecture principles.
• Collaborate with digital teams, business analysts, and data teams to develop solutions.
• Evaluate emerging technologies for data management and analytics.
• Ensure the integrity and privacy of PHI data.
• Oversee third-party architecture designs.
• Ensure Agile DevOps alignment with architecture strategies.

Key Requirements:

• Understanding of life sciences/pharma.
• Experience in R&D with comprehensive data architecture.
• Knowledge of data-processing systems (OLTP vs. OLAP), data modeling.
• Experience managing full R&D project lifecycles, collaborating with cross-functional teams and vendors.
• Optimizing R&D platforms for business value, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Leading architecture governance, ensuring compliance with GxP, HIPAA, GDPR, and data standards.
• Detail-oriented, customer-focused, team player, capable of working across time zones.
• Knowledge of agile environments and scalable data solutions.
• Strong experience with data platforms and Agile development, preferably as Solution Architect.
• Preferred experience with GxP, HIPAA, GDPR regulations.
• Reliable and professional behavior.
