Job location: The ideal candidate will be based in Noida or New Delhi and will work remotely with teams in India and Canada.

Note: This is a very senior position (Equivalent to Director). The person will be heading the complete India team.

Job Description:

We are looking for an accounting professional to lead our India delivery organization. The right person is someone who believes in client obsession, has a can-do attitude, and has proven experience managing delivery for multiple clients with multiple teams. If you are self-driven and love setting high quality and service standards for international customers, this would be a great opportunity for you.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Efficiently lead several teams of Accountants/Bookkeepers and Payroll Specialists, with each team handling monthly financial reports and other date-bound deliverables for multiple clients.
• Ensure delivery within agreed SLAs of schedule and budget variance.
• Ensure quality of deliverables with agreed tools and processes as per company’s quality standards.
• Act as the main point of contact for client delivery, status updates, and escalations.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with the Onshore team.
• Be responsible for building a high performing team.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience of delivering services successfully and meeting client expectations for US/Canadian clients.
• 5+ years of experience in handling multiple high performing accounting/bookkeeping teams working in an onshore-offshore model.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end accounting and bookkeeping work including R2R (Record to Report) and Month-end reporting.
• Excellence in English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to perform risk analysis and mitigation.
