Job summary

Eutelsat Communications SA, based in Issy-les-Moulineaux, is seeking a 5G/NTN Cybersecurity Expert for the IRIS² programme. You will design, review and implement secure systems to protect sensitive information and assets across satellite and terrestrial networks.

You will work on security architectures for 5G core networks, NTN and service orchestration, ensuring compliance with 3GPP, ISO, NIST and international standards. Regular EU travel will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Security or related field.
• Proven experience securing 4G/5G mobile networks.
• Knowledge of 3GPP, ISO 27001, ISO 27005, NIST frameworks and ECSS/CCSDS.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the security and resilience of 5G and NTN services.
• Assess security requirements for hybrid terrestrial-satellite systems.
• Define and review security architectures spanning 5G core, NTN, and service orchestration platforms.
• Support integration of 3GPP NTN capabilities into end-to-end security design.
• Review and contribute to security documentation and reports.
• Collaborate with system engineering teams to align security with architecture.
• Contribute to security certification and accreditation activities.
• Lead risk and vulnerability assessments and evidence management.
• Collaborate with partners, vendors and auditors on security needs.
• Work with IT, software, and network teams to implement security measures.
