Open to contractual candidates: Yes, as an exception to civil servant applications. Job Overview: A position for a Social Service Assistant (Childhood, Family, Prevention) (employment framework: Social and Educational Assistant / category A / medico-social sector) is available at the Social Solidarity Department / Proximity Social Houses of Perpignan.

Responsibilities / Conditions of Exercise: Reporting hierarchically to the Head of Social and Medico-Social Teams (RESMS) Childhood, Family, Prevention, the selected candidate will work within the Childhood Family teams transversally. The following missions will be undertaken:

• Ensure comprehensive social follow-up of families within the Childhood Family missions (prevention and placement);
• Assess / prepare specific support measures: Home Educational Assistance, administrative or judicial placement;
• Follow children in Temporary Reception;
• Assess approval requests and monitor childminders, family assistants, adoption candidates, and adaptation investigations;
• Evaluate and handle concerning information;
• Participate in Child, Approval, Adoption, Technical, Summaries, and Team meetings;
• Attend hearings with the Juvenile Judge;
• Follow up on children entrusted in connection with the Child Social Assistance reference;
• Provide social support to beneficiaries of Active Solidarity Income (RSA) followed in Childhood Family.

Functional relationships:

- Connections with other Teams / Services / Departments / Deputy General Directors / General Director of Services.
