13-month Postdoc: THz Spectroscopy for Astrochemistry

Institut des Sciences Moléculaires d’Orsay (ISMO) in Paris-Saclay invites applications for a 13‑month postdoctoral position to pioneer precision molecular spectroscopy in the THz range as part of the METEORIT project. The work leverages a suite of advanced spectrometers and access to SOLEIL beamlines for high-resolution studies of astrophysically relevant molecules, radicals, and ions.

Qualified candidates should hold a PhD in Physics, Physical Chemistry, or related fields.

Qualifications

• PhD in Physics, Physical Chemistry, or related field.
• 13-month postdoc position in THz spectroscopy development.
• Experience in high-resolution molecular spectroscopy is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Instrumental design, recording and analysis of molecular spectra under sub-Doppler conditions.
