CNRS IRAP Toulouse invites applications for a 2+1 year postdoctoral position in stellar and exoplanet research in Toulouse, France. The project uses SPIRou data and ESPaDOnS spectra to study M-dwarf planetary systems and magnetic topologies, under Drs JF Donati and C Moutou.

The successful candidate must hold a PhD in astrophysics with a solid background in spectropolarimetry and/or velocimetry to analyze SPIRou data; starting date around January 2027.

Qualifications

• PhD in astrophysics essential.
• Solid background in stellar spectropolarimetry and/or velocimetry.
• Experience analyzing SPIRou/ESPaDOnS data considered a plus.
