Clarvo is recruiting on behalf of a client, a leading IT consulting firm specializing in developing bespoke software solutions for the financial technology industry. The company is dedicated to empowering financial institutions by engineering innovative and robust systems that drive modernization and efficiency. They are currently seeking a talented Software Engineer to join their dynamic team.

We are looking for a mid-level Software Engineer to fill a full-time, permanent position. This role is fully on-site at our client's central office. In this position, you will be a key contributor to the entire software development lifecycle, from initial concept to final deployment. Your primary responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and quality assurance engineers, to translate business requirements into technical solutions. A significant part of your day-to-day will involve writing clean, efficient, and scalable code, conducting code reviews, and actively participating in technical discussions to solve complex problems. You will also be tasked with troubleshooting and debugging existing systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

The ideal candidate is a proactive and detail-oriented engineer with a strong foundation in software development principles. You should be comfortable working in a collaborative environment and possess excellent communication skills. A professional proficiency in English is required for this role. • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software development.
• Demonstrated proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language, such as Java or Python.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Azure.
• A solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
• Proven experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
