Job summary

Tate is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead to oversee loading and warehouse activities at the Dublin site, including 3rd party storage. You will ensure timely, accurate order fulfillment, lead a team of Warehouse Operators, and uphold safety and inventory controls.

You will manage stock, use SAP for MRPs, drive continuous improvement, and align with Kingspan's safety standards to deliver excellence in OTIF metrics.

Qualifications

• Supply chain/logistics oriented degree or relevant experience in a warehouse leadership role.
• Previous experience in logistics or warehouse role.
• Knowledge and use of SAP/MRP systems.
• Professional approach generating credibility and driving a culture of safety and zero defects.

Responsibilities

• Work safely at all times and report any safety concerns as they arise.
• Own and maintain the inventory management system, ensuring accurate records of all stock and assets.
• Take responsibility for all goods on site, ensuring inventory is properly stored, controlled and accounted for.
• Ensure all assets are accurately tagged, tracked and recorded in accordance with company procedures.
• Manage periodic stock counts and audits, maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy.
• Provide day-to-day leadership and support to Warehouse Operators, ensuring safe and efficient warehouse activities.
• Monitor inventory movements and investigate any stock discrepancies.
• Ensure effective housekeeping in the warehouse and yard through the implementation of 5S systems.
• Work closely with Site Leadership, Warehouse Operators and Assembly Teams to ensure materials and inventory are available when required.
• Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of warehouse and inventory control processes.
• Generate and maintain inventory reports and documentation as required to support operational performance.

About the Role

The Warehouse Team Lead will be responsible for all loading and warehouse activities at the Dublin site and for 3 rd party external storage, including stock control, goods received, picking loads accurately and goods outbound. They will ensure the safety of all personnel who access the yard and loading areas and will focus on delivering customer orders on time and in full as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Work safely at all times and report any safety concerns as they arise.
• Take reasonable care for your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your acts or omissions, being aware of emergency procedures including the evacuation and fire precaution procedures.
• Own and maintain the inventory management system, ensuring accurate records of all stock and assets.
• Take responsibility for all goods on site, ensuring inventory is properly stored, controlled and accounted for.
• Ensure all assets are accurately tagged, tracked and recorded in accordance with company procedures.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

Education:

• Supply chain/logistics orientated degree or relevant experience in a warehouse related leadership role.

Experience:

• Previous experience in a logistics or warehouse role.
• Knowledge and use of MRP systems, in particular SAP.
• Previous experience in a management role.
• Experience of compliance management systems.
• A professional approach generating credibility and confidence in others and at the same time develop and driving a culture of safety and zero defects whilst having the ability to work on your own initiative and adapt in a changing environment.

Skills

• Must have a persistent manner and be able to succeed in a challenging environment.
• Ability to communicate and influence effectively at all levels and with other areas to ensure customer satisfaction and OTIF deliveries.
• Collaboration and team working, particularly with Procurement, Logistics, PMs and Manufacturing areas.
• Demonstrated lead with the ability to drive actions through data and KPI's.
• Structured, self-motivated and passionate about all aspects of on time deliveries.
• 5S knowledge and experience.
• Result oriented individual who drives continuous improvement on an ongoing basis.
• To actively promote Kingspan Tate both internally and externally.
