Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to interpret complex VAT regulations.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research.
• Solid knowledge of the tax engine.
• Driver's License.
• Fluent in Finnish & English.

Responsibilities

• Conduct VAT reviews and audits to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to enhance compliance and efficiency.
• Advise clients on VAT compliance and guide VAT-related issues, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
• Gather, analyze, and make recommendations based on customer data that improve the organization’s operating efficiencies and costs.
• Analyze and interpret complex VAT regulations and legislation, providing accurate and timely advice to clients.
• Stay updated on the latest VAT developments and changes in legislation and proactively communicate their impact to clients.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as finance, legal, and tax departments, to ensure alignment and integrated VAT solutions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• No supervisory responsibilities.
