Job summary

Wolt seeks a VAT Manager to join as an in-house advisor on VAT matters across the business. You will collaborate with Finance, Legal, Business and Product teams to translate VAT rules into practical guidance and ensure compliant VAT treatment across products and regions.

The role is advisory-first, working on multiple projects in parallel, with ownership of VAT matters and a focus on delivering clear, actionable guidance to non-tax stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in VAT advisory.
• Experience with tax audits.
• Strong communication skills; ability to translate VAT rules for non-tax colleagues.
• CESOP reporting knowledge is a nice-to-have, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide VAT advisory support to multiple teams and projects across the business.
• Review new products and features for their VAT treatment and implications.
• Review contracts from a VAT perspective, flagging risks and suggesting language.
• Identify, assess and manage VAT risks.
• Support in VAT audits, coordinating with tax authorities and internal stakeholders.
• Support CESOP reporting as an SME.
