Job summary

Ryan LLC is seeking a VAT Recovery Consultant to support clients in identifying capital leakage and ensuring accurate ledgers in VAT and related areas. You will conduct VAT reviews, advise on compliance, and analyze data to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

The role requires strong analytical skills, client-facing experience, and the ability to manage multiple projects with independence. Fluency in Finnish and English is essential for client interaction and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• Experience or strong interest in VAT or VAT Recovery.
• Client-facing experience and strong communication skills.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with ability to interpret VAT regulations.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct VAT reviews and audits to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
• Advise clients on VAT compliance and VAT-related issues.
• Gather, analyze, and recommend data-driven improvements to operating efficiencies and costs.
• Interpret VAT regulations to support timely and accurate client advice.
• Stay updated on VAT developments and communicate impacts to clients.
• Collaborate with finance, legal, and tax teams for integrated VAT solutions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
