Job summary

Tampere University invites applications for a University Instructor (70% part-time, fixed-term for three years) in the Higher Education Group. Based in the Administrative Studies Unit, the role covers teaching in the MARIHE Master’s Programme and HEG projects.

The successful candidate will teach courses, supervise group work, conduct research, and pursue external funding. A master’s degree, strong teaching skills in English, and collaboration ability are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree relevant to the field and proven ability to teach in English.
• Strong teaching skills and demonstrated ability to teach in English.
• Experience collaborating with teams and securing external funding is preferred.
• Evidence of research or societal engagement is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in the MARIHE Master’s Programme and related HEG courses.
• Supervise group work and other small-group teaching activities.
• Contribute to HEG projects and pursue external funding.
